Who We Are
The Friends of Eastern Otways share a passion for conserving and appreciating this special part of Victoria. We are a diverse group of people that enjoy getting out into the park and volunteering our time to help improve this place in whatever way we can.
Since becoming an organisation in 1991 the friends have been a part of many conservation projects in the region, and have taken thousands of pictures of native and feral species in our mammal surveys.

There are track notes for 38 amazing walks in the eastern part of the Great Otways National Park in this website. Some of the walks even have QR codes fixed to signs along the walk to provide more detail and interest.

The Friends of Eastern Otways acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land in which we volunteer and explore. We respect the ongoing connection to Country held by the Wadawurrung and Gadubanud People and understand that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to the elders past, present, and emerging.
